Accepting Yourself with Women’s Human Hair Wigs
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009Me and my family never imagined the beautiful and confident Belinda Upton, my high school BFF, might someday accessorize with lace front wigs. Her extravagant hair and fashion was synonymous with her attitude. Guess what? She will always be the center of attention for her attitude. Only a handful of souls realize she compensates for medical hair loss with human hair wigs. Keep it on the DL.
When we were kids growing up in the hill country, we used to had our picks of boys. But in college her medical hair loss took its toll and her hair thinned spottily. I suggested a few human hair wigs. But you know, it didn’t matter much. Unfazed by medical hair loss, she proudly demonstrated her threadbare confidence.
Appearing at the school’s baseball championship, we heckled till someone retardedly slapped the orb (or whatever you call it) into the bleachers. My bff tried to get it when her hat jumped from her head, unveiling her naked head. Totally upreturbed, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave back to the field. That’s so her!
That said, everyone has insecurities. One time she invited me over for a game of bridge, where she laughed nervously and said that she would rather do without hair out of anger. She loved her old hair so much she can’t even spend money on well crafted lace front wigs, though she wanted one. At that moment she turned flush red and demanded that I dismiss the notion. I had to oblige.
I wanted to help so bad. Later on, I called about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. After a long deliberation the two of us arrived at an agreement: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. We have a knack for making online wig shopping fun.
We had a great time, stunned by the possibilities. She never imagined that synthetic wigs are vital to fashion for a lot of people. These women’s wigs were marvelous. I coordinated a comprehensively modern set of outfits to go with our wigs. Out of solidarity, but you knew that already. Recently she sent me her thanks for the wig, and said it encourages a fresh spirit for many occasions. It’s encouraging to watch little miss attitude live a happier existence. Friends can do anything!
