Suppose how uninteresting a television adverts for a car would be without a voice in the background describing the attributes of the car. Voice over work is even more important for radio commercials. Without voice over narrators, products and businesses could not be advertised on the radio, since radio is exclusively sound. You can occasionally even hear various voices in adverts that are becoming more and more common online. Without a voice over narrator, there would be nothing for you to hear.
