Xavier Buyse Makes Move in Mobile Ads

Now that 3G is much more pervasive, or the 3rd generation of mobile mobile internet there has been a gigantic growth in people taking advantage of mobile devices to have a look at the world wide web and with that a large amount companies have moved in to dominate the space. One business man entrepreneur being Xavier Buyse from ADS Media whose rapidly growing company ADS media is expanding at a significant rate as the industry for mobile advertising continues to expand. With the growth of 4g on the horizon this industry looks set to mature even further in a relatively short period of time.

With the news that Google is set to buy mobile ad company Admob things could really hot up in the mobile ad market, with Google as did Xavier Buyse CEO of ADS Media clearly seeing the opportunity increased connectivity presents. The progression of this market is also shown in the maturing industry for mobile touch screen devices which Mr. Xavier Buyse will hope continues. Touch screen being synonymous primarily with the iPhone which has outsold all others in the space with its flawless design and intuitive interface. In such a quickly expanding industry though there is nothing to say that this trend will carry on as other big players see the opportunity to claim themselves a piece of the action.

This has been proven by the amount of other mobile phone manufacturers developing their own answer to the Apple iPhone. Although no one has yet being able to develop the ubiquitous ‘iPhone killer’ just yet, with sales of Googles own mobile device running on Android not quite matching up to the phenomenal sales of the iPhone. One question which should be posed is whether an explosion in advertising on mobile devices could perhaps inhibit the development of the market as a whole as people become wary of ever more ingenius ways advertiser sell their wares. At this stage the industry is still in its infancy and mobile ads are not completely intrusive, usually just consisting of a pop up at the top of the screen which is relatively small.

It is true to say that the mobile advertising industry will have learnt some hard learnt lessons from advertising on the rest of the internet in terms of what people are likely to like and dislike. From the view point of the creatives mobile advertising poses a new issue, being that you only have a tiny area to be able to sell anything, usually not enough for an image but only a minimal segment of text writing, similar to paid search results in the major search engines.

What is critical is that competing businesses to Admob consider their position extremely carefully and monitor Admobs every move as now they are being bought by Google will soon be under Googles wing, the primary search engine for consumers it is a given they are going to make the most their power to try and out play their rivals in every which way way they can.
